Graveside Services for Geraldine Guyon Moses Allmendinger, 96, of Hoover, AL, will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 19, 2018 in the Hasley Cemetery West Monroe, LA, with John Guyon officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Geraldine was born in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana on May 9, 1922 and passed away on November 15, 2018. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Jean Gulledge; son, Burt Moses; husband, Milton Allmendinger; brother, Don Royce Guyon; and sister, Freda Griffith
Throughout her life, she lived in Louisiana, Texas, Washington, Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, and Alabama. She was proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel and sew. Later in life she discovered her artistic talent for drawing and painting. Gerri was always young at heart and enjoyed the fact that people couldn’t believe how active she was for her age. An independent woman, she loved camping and was known for pulling a travel trailer all over the country. Gerri worked many different jobs in her lifetime, but her favorite was being a mother and raising her sons and daughter.
She is survived by her sons, Jack Moses, David (Karen) Moses; granddaughters, Vanessa (Brett) Nolan and Lauren Moses; grandsons, Daniel (Tasha) Moses, and Justin (Kate) Moses; sister, Melba Ladd;3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
