Gerald Raymond Wiese

Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Wiese, 79, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 27, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be in Northeast LA Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until time of service on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Mr. Wiese was born December 31, 1941, in Luverne, MN, and passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Wiese was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church, but before that he was a Deacon at College Place Baptist Church. He was also a member of HI-12 of the Scottish Rites.

Mr. Wiese was preceded in death by his father, Ferdinand Wiese; mother, Addie Wiese; and brother, Roger Wiese.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Wiese; daughters, Sandra Ogg (Ramsey) and Susan Sheffield (Art); grandchildren, Patrick Ogg (Gabby), Erick Ogg, Tyler Sheffield and Justin Sheffield; brothers, Robert Wiese, Bill Wiese, Earl Wiese; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Downhour, Wally Gahagan, Allen Rowell, Charles Headrick, Ramsey Ogg, and Arthur Sheffield.
