Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Kenneth “Smitty” Smith, will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 9, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Karl Huff officiating.

Gerald Kenneth “Smitty” Smith, 76, passed away at his home in Winnfield, LA surrounded by his children on December 5th, 2020. He was preceded in death by his Son, Levi Allen Smith; Wife, Sharon Kaye Peel Smith; Parents Willie Levi Smith and Clorea Richardson Smith; Brother Willie Sherman “Billy” Smith; Sister, Betty Jean Smith Rowell. He is survived by his children Staci Ann Smith McIntire and husband the late Michael James McIntire, Kenneth Wayne Smith and wife Brandie, Edward Levi Smith and husband Brian, and Robert Kyle Smith. He had 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Gerald is a native of Siscily Island, LA and a longtime resident of Houma, LA. Gerald retired from Bowen tools as a salesman shortly after the passing of his wife and relocated to his current residence in Winnfield, LA. He was known by many for his kindness and generosity. He never met a stranger and would talk with anyone.

Pallbearers will be Seth Jones, Ethan Jones, Fanci Cole, Aaron Johnson, Russell Gill, and David Dupont.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Mulhearn Funeral Home
