Funeral services for George Martin Younger, Jr., 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday July 27, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Father Robert Dandridge officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
George Younger was born September 23, 1932 in West Monroe, LA. He retired from Riverwood Paper Mill after 41 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beryl of 45 years.
Survivors include: daughters, Donna Tolar and husband Sammy of West Monroe and Tammy Younger of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Blake Summarell and husband Eric of Sedalia, MO, Justin Tolar and wife Leigh of West Monroe, Megan Jones of Healy, AK, and Austin Jones of Tulsa, OK; great grandchildren, Ian and Allie Bustin, Sam Tolar and Caiden Summarell; and special nephew, Kelton Bacon and wife Martha.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Tolar, Max Bacon, Danny Bacon, Richard Hall, Lyn Walker, and Clifton Tarver.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
The family wishes to extend appreciation to the members of Saint Patrick’s Episcopal Church for all their caring concern; especially Marana Parker for providing her Italian spaghetti, which always brightened his day.
