Graveside Services for Mr. George Kenneth Washer, 71, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2021at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, Louisiana with Father Mark Franklin officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mr. Washer was born April 29, 1949 in Bryan, Texas and passed away on February 5, 2021 in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Washer worked in sales for 32 years, retiring in 2004 to spend time with his family. He had an infectious sense of humor, a friendly and chatty nature, and was always quick with a smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, and watching his beloved LSU Tigers, Texas A&M Aggies, and Creighton Bluejays.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Jewell & Larche Washer; parents-in-law, Antoinette & Michael Ticheli; and brother-in-law, Michael Ticheli, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mona Washer; his son, Ken Washer and his wife, Jennifer; his daughters, Kimberly White and her husband, Joseph; and Jennifer Webb and her husband, John; his grandchildren: Emily Washer, Maggie Washer, Matthew White, Ethan White, Katelynn Webb, Abby Webb, and Audrey Webb; his siblings: Russell Washer and his wife, Jeanie; Linda Leaming and her husband, Rich; Paul Washer and his wife, Wendi; and Roy Washer and his wife, Windi; his sister-in-law Libby Flowers and her husband, Mike; brother-in-law James Ticheli; 9 nephews and 3 nieces.
His brothers, son, and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
