George Edward Hocutt

Funeral Service for Mr. George Edward Hocutt, 61, of Monroe, LA, will be 7:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Fr. Paul Thunduparampil officiating.

George was born August 28, 1960, and passed away on September 9, 2021. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and was an avid Saints fan and enjoyed helping people in general.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper W. and Mary Lewellyan Hocutt; sister, Mary Alice Hocutt; and brother, Donald J. Hocutt.

Survivors include sister, Catherine Hocutt McCall; brother, Bill Hocutt and brother-in-law, Juan H. Hocutt; niece, Becky McCall; great-nephew, Khi Bond; and great-niece, Mary-Grace Bond.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral costs.
