George “Silky” Elias was a devoted husband and father. He was a devout catholic and was proud of his faith being a member at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. George earned the name Silky from his golfing buddies because of the Silky-smooth stroke he had. He was an avid outdoorsman. Aside from his love of bass fishing and bowhunting his passion for the cut down OLT duck calls and greenheads was passed down to all of his kids. George didn’t meet a stranger and had a zest for life. The only thing that rivaled his love for Christ was his love for Betty for over 56 years.
