Geneva Ann Whitsitt Eubanks

Funeral services for Geneva Ann Whitsitt Eubanks, 93, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 15, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Rusty Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 AM until service time, Friday, at the funeral home.


Mrs. Eubanks was born on December 9, 1924, in Liberty, MO and passed away on June 11, 2018, in Monroe, LA. Ann started teaching music for choir at Bastrop High School, and later moved to Monroe and worked as a secretary at State Farm. She then worked for Miss Biedenharn as a librarian for the Bible Research Center, and then also a librarian for NLU now ULM. Ann sang opera for the local community for many years, and also played the lap harp. Ann served with her husband in prison ministries as well.

Mrs. Eubanks was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Clifford Whitsitt and Irma B. Rupert Whitsitt; and husband, Ernest L. Eubanks

Survivors include her son, David Eubanks, Sr. and wife Lynn; grandchildren, David Eubanks, II and wife Liz, and Ashley Eubanks Davis and husband Josh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
