funeral services for Mrs. Gayla Banks Rogers, 73, of Monroe, La, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2020 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Bro. Ricky Nolan officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Church Cemetery in Grayson, LA. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rogers was born February 25, 1947 in Monroe, La and passed away at her residence Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in Swartz, La. Everyone loved and cared about her. She had a wonderful life with her husband, Les Rogers, of fifty years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Arzelle Banks; and her husband, Les Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughters, Delana Coates (Dwain), and Angela Kaiwi; grandkids, Josh Kaiwi (Megan),Malia Kaiwi (Brett), Britani Aertker (John), Victoria Jones, and Zack Kaiwi (Kirysel); great grandkids, Jax Kaiwi, Kekoa O Kekai, and Everleigh Rose Aertker.

Pallbearers will be Bo Coates, Jamie Coates, Paul Day, Richard Rawson, Earl Keshner, and Joe Feltri.
