Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lanis Pettit officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Mr. Norris was born in Crowville, LA on March 15, 1935 and passed away in Monroe, LA on August 8, 2015. He retired after 40 years of service from the Department of Corrections with the State of Louisiana. Mr. Norris loved watching wrestling, was an avid New England Patriots fan, and he never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Crawford and Nettie Bozeman Norris; his wife, LaQuita Smith Norris; his son, Ricky Norris and his siblings, Maybelle Norris Cowart, J.C. Norris, Reba Norris Lively and John Allen Norris.Survivors include his children, Cherri Gregoire and husband, Anthony, Lisa Reppond-Johnson and husband, Quinn, and Ellen Norris Bradshaw and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Scott Whitaker and wife, Jessica, Nathan Stowe and wife, Laura, Lucas Stowe, Anthony Reppond, Lexi Mayfield and husband, Mike, Lindsay Norris, Kimberly Norris and Rikki Norris; great grandchildren, John Whitaker, James Whitaker, Jesse Whitaker, Riley Reppond, Jackson Reppond, Parker Mayfield, Rylee Scivicque, Diezel Norris and Faith Kirtland; along with numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Mr. Norris’ grandsons, Scott Whitaker, Anthony Reppond, Nathan Stowe, Lucas Stowe, Quinn Johnson, Anthony Gregoire, Mike Mayfield, Danny Ray Whitaker and Kenneth Reppond.
