Garry Dwain Wilson

Funeral services for Mr. Garry Dwain Wilson, 73, of Hebert, LA, will be held at 4:00PM Monday, July 8, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA with Mr. Brett Stapelton officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until time of service at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd.

Garry was born May 14, 1951, in Ouachita Parish, and passed away July 4, 2024, in Monroe, LA. He was a member of hunting clubs and Bass clubs. 

Garry retired from General Motors. He enjoyed teaching family and friends his talents of hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed many sports such as bowling, softball, golf, and racket ball. If he wanted to participate in a sport he excelled in it.

Survivors included is wife of 51 years, Barbara Sanderson Wilson; daughters, Belinda Wilson (Jeremy), Melissa Pipes (Matthew); grandchildren, Tristin, Layton, Grayson, Kalie, Kadence, and Khloe; brother, Bruce Nappier (Deborah); and many nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Takewell, Buddy Hart, Danny Reeves, Pete McClusky, and Craig May.
