Frieda Ann Brandon Massingale

Funeral services for Frieda Ann Brandon Massingale, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Ms. Massingale was born in Little Rock, AR, on March 21, 1932, and passed away after a lengthy illness on June 7, 2018. Frieda lived in Swartz and was retired from the Centric Federal Credit Union in West Monroe. She loved her family and friends and loved to travel and play bingo.

Frieda was preceded in death by her son, John Fred Massingale; and her parents, Fred O. Brandon and Mabel Brandon Payne.

Survivors include her devoted grandson, Brandon Massingale; brother, Eugene Brandon (Margaret); sister, Alice P. Clark (Lee R); sisters-in-law, Maxine Payne (Jimmy), Rita Davis (Fisher Massingale); brother-in-law, George Massingale (Rosemary); and too many nieces, nephews, and close friends to mention.
