Frank Zdenko Maley

A memorial service for Mr. Frank Zdenko Maley, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 28, 2022, at All Saints Anglican Church, with The Rev’d. Terry W. Gatwood officiating. Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Maley was born January 8, 1932, in Hot Springs, AR, and passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, surrounded by family at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia, LA. He lived in Monroe from 1967 until his passing. He graduated from the Southern State College in Magnolia, Arkansas and was the Regional Scout Director of Boy Scouts.

Mr. Maley was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Joseph Maley; mother, Bozena Kralicek Maley; daughter, Martha Jeanne McCabe; and sister, Martha Maley Tabor.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Barbara Brundrett Maley; children, Rick Maley and wife Cynthia and Elizabeth Maley Douglas and husband Dowd; grandchildren, Andrew Strong, Matthew Maley, Dana Maley, Sandra Wood, and Kyle McCabe; great grandchildren, Kollins McCabe, Grayson Wood, Olivia Maley, Owen Strong and Olivia Strong; nieces, Pam Dixon, Sherry Elser, and Suzanne Mullins; and nephews, Scott Tabor and Paul Baumgardner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
