Graveside services celebrating the life of Francis Lee Allbritton, 58, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday July 16, 2020 at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA with Rev. James Doughty officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
Lee died July 12, 2020 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston, LA after a lengthy illness.
Lee was known for his great sense of humor and had a kind heart with an outgoing personality. He enjoyed reading theology, especially the older theologians like A.W. Tozer, Francis Schaefer, A.W. Pink, Charles Spurgeon, and John Calvin. His knowledge of scripture was immense, and he loved debating with anyone over anything.
He loved his church family at First Baptist Monroe and attended regularly over the last years of his life as he was truly transformed by God’s Grace.
Lee graduated from Neville High School class of 1980 and attended ULM and UNO.
Lee was a manager of Frank and Janie’s Seafood for many years and also worked as a plumber’s helper.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Margueritte Allbritton.
Survivors: Sister, Monica Parrish and husband, Paul; Brothers, Lynn Allbritton and wife, Stacey, and Tim Allbritton and wife, Patti; Nephew, Doug Parrish and wife, Summer and their children, Tabitha and Melody; Nieces, Jillian Allbritton, Kelley and Erin; and Aunt, Malinda Hilton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Swinney, Brad Johnson, Randy and Brian Russell.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Monroe, LA or the Salvation Army.
