Frances Weeks Davis

Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Weeks Davis, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 7, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Charles Martindale and her grandson, Jason Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA. Mrs. Frances was born June 3, 1934 in West Helena, AR and went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2016. She was a homemaker, mother and owner of West Monroe Saw Co. Mrs. Frances was a member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, the Pilot Club and Chamber of Commerce. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Weeks; parents, Ethan and Norene Allen; and grandson, Michael Kennedy. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Kenneth Davis; three children, Dianne Weeks Wright and husband Bob of Clarksdale, MS, Linda Weeks Smith of Memphis, TN and Allen Weeks of West Monroe; grandchildren, Jason, Chris and Brandon Wright, Lori Kennedy Schaffer, Jerod Weeks and Lauren Weeks Dobbins; great grandchildren, William, Jacob, Rebekah, Hannah and Joshua Wright, Travis, Clay, Lyndsie and Lauren Schaffer and Russell Wright; sister, Betty Ferguson of Searcy, AR; brother, Gene Allen of Huntsville, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerod Weeks, Jeremy Shaffer, Travis Shaffer, Bob Wright, Brandon Wright and Greg Eubanks. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
