Frances Mary Danna

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Mary Danna, 91, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 5, 2022, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Mike Thang’wa officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, September 4, 2022, with a vigil at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Danna was born on February 16, 1931, in St. Martinville, LA, and passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Danna is preceded in death by her husband of 72 ½ years, Johnny J. Danna; grandson, Brian P. Young; and her sister, Virginia Vann.

Survivors include her children; Anthony J. Danna (Nancy), Philip P. Danna (Terri), Mary D. Young (Ralph), Cathy D. Brothers (Lane), John J. Danna, Jr. (Cheryl); 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Russell Danna, Philip P. Danna, Jr., Jason S. Young, Kyle L. Brothers, Matt Varnadore, Bobby Parnell, Corey Taylor, and Robert Loftin.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Louisiana Hospice and all the private sitters who took such good care of Mrs. Danna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
