Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Malta, 81, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Malta passed away Friday, November 23, 2007, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Mrs. Malta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tony Malta; and son, Anthony Joseph Malta.
Survivors include her four sons, David Charles Malta, Roy Michael Malta, Peter Dale Malta, and Thomas Gregory Malta, all of Monroe, LA; one brother, Pete Shambro of West Monroe; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Shambro, Tommy Gambino, Sammy Ticheli, Anthony Malta, Moses Golden, and Alex Linder.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and a Vigil Wake Service at 6:30 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
