Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Jean Danna, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 15, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Deacon Bill Goss officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
Mrs. Frances Danna was born May 27, 1935, to Paul Frank Onebene and Carmella “Mary” Urrata. She passed away at home surrounded by family on May 11, 2022. She received special care in her final days from LA Hospice and Palliative Care. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Mrs. Danna loved her family and friends as well as enjoying meeting new people. She worked as a professional seamstress and after retiring she continued to show her appreciation and love to many with her crocheting. Mrs. Danna particularly enjoyed crocheting names for many family members and people that she encountered and wished to thank.
After years of loving devotion as a mother, Frances began a “Grandfamily” for her two girls. She laid a foundation guided by integrity, love and fortitude. She led a dutiful life of prayer and love every day.
Mrs. Danna was preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Mary Onebene; husband, Angelo Thomas Danna; and son, Paul Thomas Danna.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise McIntosh and husband Chuck McIntosh, MD; sister, Grace Leblanc and husband Bob; grandchildren, Charles McIntosh and wife Danielle, Thomas McIntosh and wife Kylie, Nicholas McIntosh and wife Rachel, Kelsey Danna, Emily Danna; and great grandchildren, Luke and Liam McIntosh.
Pallbearers will be Charles McIntosh IV, Thomas McIntosh, James LeBlanc, Justin Ferguson, and Cody Guinn.
