Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Eloise Sanders, 90, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 18, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, Louisiana, with Paul Stephens and Mike Kellett officiating. Interment will follow at Jena Cemetery in Jena, Louisiana. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, Louisiana.
Mrs. Sanders was born June 15, 1929 and passed away on October 15, 2019. She was a member of Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Sanders retired from Kraft Foods after 32 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and bowling. She was an avid baseball and basketball fan of the Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Dallas Mavericks, and Houston Rockets.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Dausie Robinson Edmonds.
Survivors include her two children, Jerry Michael Sanders (Gwen), and Brenda Gail Prater (Joseph); five grandchildren, Steven Michael Sanders (Terrie), Christy Sanders Scott (James), Teran Renea Slough, Joshua Ryne Prater, Nathan Duane Prater (Amber), seven great-grandchildren, Bayden Sanders, Christopher Sanders, Tristan Murphy, Ryan Scott, Allison Scott, Jordan Slough, and Tyler Slough; brother James Douglas Edmonds (Mildred); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Bayden Sanders, Christopher Sanders, Tristan Murphy, Ryan Scott, Jordan Slough, Charlie Finlay; Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Slough and Ronnie Thrift.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM 2:00 PM Friday, October 18, 2019, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Whites Ferry Road World Radio.
