Floyd Browning

Funeral services for Floyd Leniod Browning Jr., 71, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 19, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 3950 Front Street, Winnsboro, Louisiana with Roy Skipper officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Winnsboro, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Winnsboro, Louisiana.

Floyd was born in Bernice, Louisiana, on December 27, 1951, and passed away May 10, 2023.

 Floyd was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed doing many other things including welding and coin collecting.  Floyd was always telling stories about his pet Lion. He was ambitious when he was really interested in something.

Floyd is preceded in death by his daughter, Ina Kate Browning; two other children; his father, Floyd Browning Sr; brother, Michael Browning; and niece, Shanna Finley.

Left to remember him are his sons, LJ Browning, Floyd Browning III, and Brent and wife, Diane; daughter, Jessica Choat; mother, Fae Browning; sister, Martha Korjan and husband, Chris; brothers, Bobby and wife, Dianne, William and wife, Deadra, and David; grandchildren, Brent Browning Jr, Brittany Browning, Dillon Youngblood, Alexis Browning, Cameron Browning, and Sophia Ratcliff; great-grandchildren, Brantleigh Browning and Bailey Browning; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Honoring Floyd as pallbearers will be Brent Browning Sr, Brent Browning Jr., David Browning, Christopher Browning, Richard Browning, Dillon Youngblood, and Johnny Browning.
