Ezell Edwards Gentry

Funeral services for Ezell Gentry, 93, of Baton Rouge, formally of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park cemetery. Mrs. Gentry died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Baton Rouge General Mid City Hospital. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church in Monroe. Mrs. Gentry worked in the church office part time for 3 years. She retired from NLU as a secretary for the School of Construction. Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. “Tip” Edwards; and brother and sister in law, Charles V. and Juanita Edwards. Survivors include sons, Andrew Gentry and wife Carolyn, of Little Rock, AR, and Gary Gentry of Baton Rouge, La.; and grandson, Steven Andrew Gentry of West Monroe, La.
