Funeral Services for Evlon Cauthan “Meme” Stone, 91, of Monroe, LA will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Monroe with Rev. Randy Impson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stone was born March 7, 1920 and passed away May 30, 2011. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and Parkview Baptist Church, where she taught all ages of Sunday school. She lived a wonderful full life and everyone who knew her loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Edward Stone; son, Gerald Stone; daughter, Patricia Stone McNeely; and son-in-law, Larry McNeely.
Mrs. Stone is survived by daughter-in law, Lavonne Stone; her grandchildren, Debora McNeely Colvin and husband, Todd, Michael Stone and wife, KC, Michelle Stone Anderson and husband, Ronald, Mark Stone and wife, Dina and Susan McNeely Love and husband, Lew; 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; son, David Stone.
Pallbearers will be Todd Colvin, Clay Colvin, Lew Love, Thomas Love, Ronald Anderson, Mark Stone, and Eric Bolton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM until service time at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
