Evelyn Mae Lang LeBrun went to her Heavenly home on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Born August 19, 1928, in Monroe, New Hampshire to Raymond McKinley Lang and Julia Head Lang. She was raised in Monroe, NH and lived in Gilman, Vermont.
She is preceded in death by her first-born infant son; husband, Richard Francis (Dick) LeBrun, Sr.; parents, Raymond McKinley Lang, Julia Head Lang; brothers, Calvin Lang, Irving Lang; sisters, Gloria Paquette, Pauline Cheney, and Phyllis Lang.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Suzie Weaver and husband, Ronnie, Kathy Orsak and husband, Steve, Rick LeBrun and wife, Loree, Ann Webb and husband, Barry, Mary LeBrun Obot-Akata and husband, Chrys, Norman LeBrun and wife, Cindy, Raymond LeBrun and wife, Rhonda, Aimee Wilkie and husband, Lewis, Beth Mayfield and husband, Jimmy, Joe LeBrun and wife, Angi: grandchildren Sara Mayberry and husband, Ian, Jenny McBride and husband, Nick, Angela Grubbs and husband, Chad, Richard LeBrun III, Barry Webb, Jr. and wife, Stacy, Kevin Webb and fiancé, Niki DelRio, Lisa Webb, Trey Simmons and wife, LaShonda, Michael Simmons, Angela Kelley and husband, Brian, Rachel Moran and husband, Phil, Rebecca Neal and husband, Shane, Andrea Webster and husband, Brandon, Raymond “Jay” LeBrun, Jr. and wife, Lindsay, Chelsea Shows and husband, Shaun, Madison Romaguera and husband, Cole, Julia Wilkie, Audrey Mayfield, Natalie Mayfield, Jami Roberts and husband, Wayne, Josh Cripps and wife, Amanda: great grandchildren, Brennan, Kinley, Reagan, Logan, Clayton, Christian, Dustin, Claire, Ryker, Christopher, Luke, Emma, Brock, Elaina, Mia, Paxton, Nathan, Chloe, Conlan, Aislinn, Jemma, Stella, Beau, Karsyn, Kennedy, Blake, Shanley, Shade, Marie, Dominik, Kai, Xoie, Kyra, Nevaeh, Payten, Skylar, Dakota, Maverick, Isadora, and Ashton; and sister, Lillian Hampson.
She graduated from McIndoe’s Academy in Barnet, VT and attended business school. Before marriage she worked as a secretary at Gilman, VT Papermill. She worked at Sears Roebuck and Co in the personnel office in Monroe, La. Later in her life she and Dick had a frame shop, downtown West Monroe, called The Right Angle. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. She belonged the Jaycee Jaynes as an original member and The Altar Society at St. Paschal Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Counsil 3642 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved putting together jigsaw puzzles, Yahtzee, other card games and square dancing with her beloved Dick. Her favorite show in the evenings was Wheel of Fortune and The Weather Channel. She made friends with everyone she met and made all of the new church members welcome. She had many friends at the Assisted Living facility she lived in for the past 9 years.
She loved her family fiercely and will be greatly missed by them.
A Funeral mass celebrating the life of Evelyn Mae Lang LeBrun will be held at 10:00 AM Monday March 16, 2025, at St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Michael Thang’wa officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday with a Vigil Wake Service and Rosary at 6:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Paschal Catholic Church building fund.
