Eunice K. FreemanFuneral services for Eunice K. Freeman, 82, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 2, 2015, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, Louisiana, with Reverend Jim Freeman and Reverend Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas.Mrs. Freeman was born June 14, 1932, in El Dorado, Arkansas, but lived most of her life in Monroe, Louisiana. Mrs. Freeman passed away peacefully Monday, December 29, 2014 at her home.She worked for and retired from Riverwood after over 25 years of service. She was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. She was an avid baseball fan and loved to read. She was also very involved in researching the family genealogy She was a member of the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution, War of 1812 Society and United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bob Freeman; her parents, Otis M. Kidd and Emma Lee Kundert Kidd; her sister, Dorothy Gill; and her twin sister, Una Bankston. Mrs. Freeman is survived by her son, Robert M. Freeman, Jr. and his wife Lynn; her daughter, Judy C. Freeman; her granddaughter, Whitney Leigh Davis; her grandsons, Robert Bradley Freeman and Marcus Dean Freeman; her great granddaughter, Makayla Leighann Davis; her great grandson, Robert Layden Freeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.She loved dearly her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and spent many precious hours with them. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bradley Freeman, Marcus Dean Freeman, Karl Brummett, Darren “Bo” Gordon, Bill Bankston, Greg Bankston, Ronnie Hill, Tom Freeman, Mickey Delamar, Dvid Koenigsaecker, Kenny Freeman, Chuck Freeman, Ray Franklin and Christopher Mikel Hill.Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, Louisiana.
