Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Johnny Austin officiating. Interment will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Monroe, LA.Ms. Maroney was born on April 13, 1917 in Girard, LA and passed away on February 7, 2015. She was a longtime resident and business owner in Ouachita and Richland Parishes. She managed several hotels in New York and Houston before moving back home in the 1970s and opening a number of retail businesses. Ms. Eula was loved by her many loyal employees, customers, and friends. She enjoyed gardening and singing and would play cards and board games with her great grandchildren up to her last days. Ms. Eula was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille Hardwick; her husband, Arthur Vallery, who died in 1962; and her second husband, Frank Maroney, who died in 1981; and daughter, Barbara Warner.Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Thompson; granddaughter, Sandra Hogan and husband Randy; granddaughter, Debbie Whitlock; grandson, David Warner and wife Pamette; grandson, Jeff Warner and wife Tanya; grandson, Chris Warner and wife Debbie; granddaughter, Vicki Drake and husband Gene; granddaughter, Toni Stennett; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until Service Time on Tuesday.Online Registry/ Condolences; www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
