Services for Eugene Lee Hill, 88 of Archibald will be 10:00AM Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Archibald with Bro. Tony Smith and Rev. John Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynn Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.Mr. Hill was born on December 1, 1926 in Rayville and passed from this life on April 2, 2015 at his home in Archibald. He was a member of Little Creek Methodist Church. He served his country during WWII in the Navy. He was a retired linesman for LA Power and Light Company.He is preceded in death by his parents-Grover and Mammie Hill; four brothers; and five sisters.He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years-Betty Hill of Archibald; daughter-Vicki Greer and husband Emmett, Jr. of Archibald; two brothers-Tom Hill and wife Leola of Rayville and Grant Hill and wife Maxine of Rayville; sister-Geraldine Hill of Archibald; special sister-in-law and best friend-Shirley Ratcliff and husband Benny of Rayville, LA; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.Pallbearers will be Charles McDonald, David Head, Buddy Hill, Brian Hill, Huey Wiggins, Sidney Hill, Frank Lane, and Lee Greer.
