Graveside services for Ethel Glodene Wilson, 100 will held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Epps Cemetery with Rev. Larry Hatcher officiating. Interment is under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville. Ethel Glodene 'Deanie' Simms Wilson enjoyed 100 years on her earthly home. Now she has eternity to bask in the presence of her Heavenly Father. She was born on March 13, 1915, and passed away peacefully at the Deerfield Nursing Home on September 14, 2015. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, quilting, and fishing. She lived in the Delhi, Epps, and West Monroe areas most of her life. We know that she is overjoyed to be in the presence of these loved ones that preceded her into Heavens gates: her husband Paul Wilson; daughter Janie Wilson Foote; parents John Howard and Mary Sharplin Simms; and thirteen Simms siblings - Irene, Gladys Byrd, Jerald Howard, Nora Madeline 'Lene', Lucy Inez, Ruby Mae, James Herbert, John Harold, Florence Effie 'Bug', Jessie Harvis, Clydie Catherine 'Cat', Adrain Wayne, and Jack Herman 'Boy'. Left to cherish her memory are: her two sons, Marion Wayne & Nita Wilson of Doyline and Bobby Ray & Cleta Wilson of West Monroe; son-in-law Larry Foote of West Monroe; and her elder sister, Beatrice 'Pratt' Simms Adams of Delhi. She is also loved and missed by many grandchildren, great-grands, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Deerfield Nursing Home and Crossroads Hospice.
