Graveside Services for Esther Mary Verret Hilburn, 98, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Friday, December 4, 2015 in St. Paschal’s Catholic Cemetery, West Monroe with Fr. Frank Coens officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Esther was born on August 31, 1917 in Sulphur, LA and passed away on December 2, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Hilburn; granddaughter, Jennifer Brown; great-grandson, Jason Blakeney; parents, Alex and Olivia Barrilleaux Verret; and 9 siblings.She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Brown from Baton Rouge, LA; daughter-in-law, Patty Hilburn from Monroe, LA; grandsons, Matthew Brown and fianc Tory Gordon from New Orleans, LA and Michael Brown and wife Tania from Oakland, CA; granddaughter, Laurie Folk and husband, Michael from Downsville, LA; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Koepke, Dr. Anderson and the medical staff of Glenwood Hospital for their compassionate care in her last few days.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
