Erline Jones

Services for Mrs. Erline Jones, 71 of Winnsboro, will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Apostolic Tabernacle Church, with Bro. Michael Couch and Bro. Mike Rockhold officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, near Winnsboro, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Apostolic Tabernacle Church, loved being a nurse, was a thrift store shopper, loved collecting antiques, and loved “Starbucks”, the stronger the coffee the better. She also loved her dog “Precious”, loved helping others, spending time with her grandchildren, and loved being outdoors and working in her garden. She is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Charles Earl Jones, son, William Douglas Jones, parents, Earl and Elizabeth Holley Crook, sisters, Deloris Wiggins, and Louise Carroll, brother, Huey Lively, and grandson, Christopher Jones, and great-grandson, Bryson Hall.

Survivors include: 3 sons, James Earl Jones of Alexandria, LA., Robert Paul Jones of Winnsboro, LA., and Charles Ray Jones and wife Dana of Stuttgart, AR., 3 daughters, Sandra McMurray and husband Delmus, Jr. of Winnsboro, Deborah Griffin and husband Stanley of Elm Grove, LA., and Susie Hall and husband Robert of Winnsboro, LA., 3 brothers, Aubrey Crook, Alvin Crook, and Benny Crook and wife Sandy, 2 sisters, Sue Mullins, and C.C. Jones, 22 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Edwin Barron, Michael Hall, Stuart Hall, Brett Roane, Cody McMurray, Kyle Jones, Adam Jones, and Aaron Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Ashton Westbrook, Zach Russell, Jared Jones, David Johnson, Nick Jones, and Ray Jones.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20th at Apostolic Tabernacle Church of Winnsboro.
