Eric Howard Wold

Private Family Services for Eric Howard Wold, 80, of Rayville, LA, will be held at a later date.

Mr. Wold was born February 29, 1944, and passed away on April 22, 2024. He served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 20+ years of service, as Chief Petty Officer. Mr. Wold then went to work for several years at an automotive part company.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Wold and Norma Anderson Wold; two brothers, Martin Wold, Jr. and Richard Wold; step-son, Brian Keith Herrington, and wife, Alice Faye Wold.

Survivors include sister, Joann “Tulla” Majot and husband Joe; two step-sons, Robert Herrington and wife Marilyn, Jimmy Herrington and wife Dana; step-daughter, Billie Jean Herrington; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
