Bobby Brown and Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Burial will follow in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Rhymes was a life-long resident of Franklin Parish and was a retired Registered Nurse. She passed away on November 20, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Rhymes and son, Ronnie Rhymes. Survivors include: Daughter: Linda Rhymes of Winnsboro, LA. Son: Eddie Wayne Rhymes and wife, Donna of Mangham, LA. Daughter: Monnie Mercer and husband, Johnny of West Monroe, LA. Daugher: Lou Ann Parker and husband, Danny of Winnsboro, LA. Daughter-in-Law: Diana Smith of Winnsboro. Sister: Hedy Vega of Mandeville, LA. Grandchildren: Shelly McLendon and husband, Johnny, Patricia Smith, Eddie Lee Carter and wife, Jolene, Nikki Roux and husband, Kris, John Mercer, David Rhymes and wife, Jaime, Jason Rhymes, Christopher Rhymes and Zachary Smith, Kristen and Lyndsey Jones, and Hayden and Danyelle Parker. Great Grandchildren: Hunter Ray, Melanie and Jonathan McLendon, Drew Smith, Andrew and Natalie Roux, and Dalton and Joni Carter. Great-Great Grandchild: Jase McLendon. Pallbearers are: David Rhymes, Jason Rhymes, John Mercer, Christopher Rhymes, Hunter Ray, and Drew Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are: Eddie Lee Carter, Kris Roux, Jonathan McLendon, and Clay Russell.
