Elzie O. "John" Guynn

Graveside service for Mr. Elzie O. “John” Guynn, 76, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Carter Cemetery in Bastrop, LA, with Rev. George Bates officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mr. Guynn was a Millwright Union carpenter. He was an avid hunter, but most of all he loved the Lord and his family. Mr. Guynn was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Viney Marie Guynn; three daughters; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Mr. Guynn's family requests that anyone attending the service to please be casual or wear camo in his memory.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Duschne, Jr., Tommy Duschne III, Roy Duschne, Jr., Kevin Hill, Chris Turner, and Nick Godina.
