Graveside services for Mrs. Elsie Virginia (Antley) King, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Friday March 26, 2021 at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA with Dr. Jim Wolf and her grandson, Shawn King officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA

Mrs. King died March 23, 2021 at the Landmark Nursing Home.

Elsie was a member of Ridge Ave. Baptist Church in West Monroe, where she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class, that she called her extended family. Elsie retired from Montgomery Ward Customer Service with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and American Mother’s Association. Elsie loved to go fishing and enjoyed working in her yard as she was able.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon King; Son, Sammy Michael King; parents, Sam and Ora Antley; Sisters, Faye Bailey, Virginia Ann Calhoun, and Ida Cook, and Olna Gray White.

Survivors: Son, Jerry Leon King and his wife, Dianne; Special Grandson, Shawn King and wife, Jenne; five precious grandchildren, Drew, Brett, Brooklyn, Lindy, and Caroline King; Sister, Laverne Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
