Funeral Services for Mrs. Elsie Mae Williams of Monroe, LA, will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, with Pastor Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Elsie Mae Williams was born Dec 20, 1942 in Ft. Necessity, LA to the late Odis Newman and Hazel Willhite Newman. She passed away March 6, 2017 in West Monroe, LA.

Elsie was a devoted wife and mother. Her feisty spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by husband, J.B. Williams.

She is survived by one child, Trent Williams; daughter-in-law, Leanne Williams; grandson, Sergejs Williams; granddaughter, Marija Williams; grand dog, Boone Williams; sisters, Lucille Dickens, Ruby Houston and Geneva Givens; brothers, William and Lavelle Newman; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
