A “Celebration of Life” for Mr. Elmer Lolley, 91 of Winnsboro, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, with Bro. Craig Beeman officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Lolley was born December 23, 1926, and passed away on June 4, 2018 at the Northeast Louisiana Veteran’s Home in Monroe. He was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, a Gideon, a graduate of L.S.U. in 1950 and a cattle rancher. He married Ruth Wheless in 1950. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army, and retired from Louisiana Farm Bureau after 33 years. Mr. Lolley is preceded in death by his parents, John C. Lolley and Mary Lolley of Ruston, LA., brother, Harold Lolley, and special cousin, Louis McDonald.
Survivors include: Wife: Ruth Wheless Lolley of Winnsboro, LA., Son, Elmer Lolley, Jr. and wife Pam of Trussville, AL., daughter, Martha Rawls and husband, Pete of Winnsboro, LA., 6 grandchildren, Clif Rawls, Kathryn Cantrell, Jennifer Tramontana, Bill Lolley, Melanie Hicks, and Drew Lolley, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous other friends and relatives.
