Funeral services for Elizabeth Ruth “Betty” Sievers, 87, of Mer Rouge, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 22, 2010, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Msgr. Edmund Moore and Rev. Richard Norsworthy officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Sievers passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010. She was an avid bowler and golfer.

Mrs. Sievers was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Eichman; and daughters, Kathryn Kemper and Mary Elizabeth Sievers.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Warren Lee Sievers of Mer Rouge, LA; daughter, Peggy Sievers of Rayville, LA; and sister, Alice Richer of Winona, MN.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
