Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Dunn Geter

The Family of Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Dunn Geter, 70, of Ruston, LA, will receive friends at 10:15 A.M., Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. A private family graveside service will follow.

Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Dunn Geter was born September 10, 1947, in San Francisco, CA, and passed away August 14, 2018, after a yearlong courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She retired after 25 years in Human Resources from St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Betty was a talented seamstress and decorator. She enjoyed gardening (which she was admittedly wasn’t very good at), painting, feeding her pet squirrels, fishing, and cooking for her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, John P. “Jack” and Mary Lou O`Brien Quinn.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Henry Geter, Sr.; daughter, Lisa Ann Dunn Johnston and son-in-law Scott; son, Gregory Scott Dunn and daughter-in-law Valerie; sister, Sharon Quinn Cronin; grandchildren, Joshua Elijah and Elizabeth Grace Dunn; her “girls”, Aimee, Ryleigh and Maddie; dear friend Emily Porter; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
