Funeral services for Ms. Edwina Nolan Starnes, 87 of Monroe will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2 PM at the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA. Internment will follow at Wynn Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.
Ms. Starnes was born June 14, 1931 in Start, LA and passes peacefully from this life on June 12, 2019 after a brief illness at her home in Monroe. She was retried from South Central Bell and was an active member of Eastern Star for many years.
Ms. Starnes was preceded in death by her Son, Bobby Gene Starnes, and grandson Bobby Gene Starnes, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Anett Burke Starnes and Billy Ray Starnes, grandchildren: Jennifer Starnes, Matthew Starnes, Anna Trimble, Andrew Baker and Ashton Baker; great grandchildren: Hunter Starnes, Tyler Lingefelt, Raven Lingefelt, Margaret Trimble, George Trimble and Anne Trimble
Pallbearers will be Tyler Lingefelt, Hunter Starnes, Matthew Starnes, Ashton Baker, Andrew Baker, and Brian Watts.
Visitation will be 12-2 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019.
Memorials may be made to the Eastern Star.
