Services for Mr. Edward Meredith, Jr., 88 of Winnsboro, will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, with Bro. Raymond Beard and Dr. Max Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Meredith was a former employee of Mulhearn Funeral Home, and later worked at Missouri Pacific Railroad until retirement. He enjoyed his retirement. He liked to visit and drink coffee at Mulhearn’s, visit Dennis Crain at the dealership, and various other people that he knew, watch tv, and play solitaire. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro, and was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Aline Meredith.
Survivors include: 3 Children; Michael Meredith of Monroe, LA, Joan-ne Atkins and husband Sheldon of Crowville, LA, and Eddie Meredith of Winnsboro, LA, 1 grandson, Logan Atkins and wife Rinata of Winnsboro, LA, and 1 great-grandson, Gavin Atkins.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9th at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
