Edward Charles Fountain

A memorial service for Mr. Edward Charles Fountain, 65, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 3, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Pastor Clarence Jackson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mr. Fountain was born November 6, 1956, in Baton Rouge, LA and passed away Saturday, February 22, 2022, at his home in Monroe, LA. Mr. Fountain was a member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Fountain was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Mable Jones; and sister, Bobby Armstrong.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Zelma W. Fountain; sister, Ferlessa “Lisa” Jones; sister-in-law, Carroll Barnes; brother, Sisciro Jones (Tyronza) both of Baton Rouge, LA; goddaughters, Lisa, Angie, Kizzy, Keshia, Jennifer, Amy, and Alissa; godson, Ramon; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
