Edward “Bones” Leon Eppinette
Graveside services for Edward “Bones” Leon Eppinette, 76, of West Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 15, 2017, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Eppinette was born January 9, 1941, in Rayville, LA, and passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017, at his residence. He was a very proud father and grandfather, who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with and watching his grandchildren grow. Mr. Eppinette enjoyed woodworking, football, fishing and hunting. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.
Mr. Eppinette was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond A. Sr. and Eunice Traxler Eppinette of Rayville, LA; sister, Mary L. Dotson; brother, Raymond A. Eppinette, Jr; and sister, Daisy M. Court.
Survivors include his daughters, Charlotte Devine and husband Scott of Start, LA, Michele Smith of The Woodlands, TX, and Christy Bowers and husband Brian of Oak Point, TX; grandchildren, Scott, Kate, Ashley, Nicholas, Brandon, and Rachel; brother, Claude R. Eppinette of Calhoun, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
