Edna Mae Jones Yeager

Funeral services for Edna Mae Jones Yeager, 91, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Hegwood Baptist Church, Epps, LA, with Rev. David Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Delhi Masonic Cemetery, Delhi, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Yeager was born August 31, 1925, in Baskin, LA and passed away April 18, 2017, in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Hegwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Yeager was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cornelius and Clara Tibbs Jones; son, Van Elbert Yeager; husband, Elbert Yeager; and grandsons, Tommy Speirs and Mark Yeager.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Yeager and wife Loraine, and Devon Yeager and Laura; daughter, Veinita Fatheree and husband Raymond; brother, Jim Jones; sister, Margarette Barrow; 10 grand-children; 20 great grand-children; and 3 great great grand-children.

Pallbearers will be Richard Wynn, Timmy Spiers, Jonathan Yeager, Johnny Grove, Jimmy Johnson and Gary Jones.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time, Saturday, at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
