Edna Estelle Johnson

Graveside services celebrating the life of Ms. Edna Estelle Johnson, 77, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA with Rev. Wes Pierce officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. 

Ms. Johnson was born on October 30, 1946 in Monroe, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2024. She graduated from Ouachita Parish High School and Northeast Louisiana University (ULM). After graduating, she trained in Murfreesboro, TN to begin her career at the new regional office of State Farm in August of 1968. She was the first female Auto Underwriter in the Louisiana Auto Company in Monroe, LA and ended her 37year career in 2005, when the regional office closed.

 Edna loved her Lord and was an active member of Cross Point Baptist Church until her health prevented her attendance. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Brown Johnson and Mildred Gill Johnson, and her fur baby, Beebop.

 Survivors include her sister, Sara Lynn Johnson; and her fur babies, Multi and Little Bit; and her special cousins and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Arrant, Wes Pierce, Rocky Johnson, Will Hatten, Royce Johnson, and Bill Price.

 The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Dean Stockstill and his staff for all the special care they have given. Also to Elara Hospice Care, Candy and Brittany; to the staff of Stoneybrook and her angels.
