Edith Branch Traxler

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Edith Branch Traxler, 82, of Rayville, LA, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville with Rev. Troy Dennard officiating. Interment will follow at Greer Cemetery.

Mrs. Traxler was born on January 12, 1941 and departed this earthly life on March 26, 2023. Praise God, she is now worshipping at the feet of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and rejoicing with her loved ones in Heaven. Mrs. Traxler was a member of First Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. She retired after 20+ years with the Richland Parish School Board. Mrs. Traxler volunteered for many years at Care and Share Ministries.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Autra and Dorothy Branch; her husband, Curtis Traxler; and her brothers, Gary Branch and Dion Branch.

She leaves behind two daughters, Allison Romero and husband Greg, and Dawn Barton and husband Melvin; six grandchildren, Ramsay Faulk and husband Lee, Morgan Mercer and husband Paul, Jordan Barton, Erik Romero and wife Lacie, Drew Barton, and Nicholas Romero and wife Heather; eight great-grandchildren, Allen and Everett Faulk, Troy, Abram and Levi Mercer, Gentrie Romero, Reed Romero, as well as baby Romero on the way. Also surviving are her two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Branch and Phyllis Branch, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Drew Barton, Nicholas Romero, Erik Romero, Paul Mercer, Lee Faulk, and Timothy Branch.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville.
