Edgar Bruce Jeffery

Graveside services for Edgar Bruce Jeffery, 68, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Riverview Cemetery, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until 10:40 AM, Saturday, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.


Mr. Jeffery was born on June 14, 1950, in Monroe, and passed away on October 10, 2018, in Monroe.

Mr. Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Burl Jeffery and Margaret Stephens Jeffery.

Survivors include his wife Melinda Johnston Jeffery; brother, Marty Jeffery and wife Tonya; stepson, Billy Kolb and wife Theresa; sister, Kathy Hayes; nieces and nephews, Jamie, Amanda, Quinten, and Morgan; step grandchildren, Gage and Alyse Kolb; great nieces, Katelyn and Kyleigh; great nephews, Kyle Wade, Jasper and Reece.

Pallbearers will be Billy Kolb, Quinten Jeffery, Lee Duckett, K.C. Ellis, Jerome Baff, and Charles Woodall.

Memorials may be made to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
