Eddie "Big Ed" Evans

Funeral services for Eddie “Big Ed” Evans, 56, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Paron Baptist Church, Sterlington, LA, Rev. Matt Coker and Rev Terry Ganey officiating. Interment will follow at Ouachita City Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Evans was born May 20, 1961, in Monroe, LA. He left his earthly home and went to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Big Ed was an avid outdoorsman, and loved his family and friends.

Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his father, Delbert “Doodle” Evans; and wife, Kristy Evans.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Evans, brother, Butch Evans and wife Jackie; sister-in-law, Kelly McDuffie; and aunt, Gwile Cox.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.
