Funeral Services for Earnest Gary Hamilton, Sr. will be held at 2:00PM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Lapine Assembly of God Church with Rev. Gene Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Lapine Assembly of God Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Hamilton was born on February 12, 1945 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on March 8, 2019 in West Monroe, LA. He proudly served in the United States Army. Mr. Hamilton was an Ordained Minister and was a longtime member of Lapine Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mr. Hamilton is preceded in death by his parents, William and Blanche Hamilton; two brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth Bourg Hamilton; daughters, Ainslea, Wendy, and Diane; 5 sons, Arthur, Dusty, Rickey, Terry, and Junior; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Caraway, Artist Caraway, Glenn Lenard, Rob Jaynes, Jeremy Lenard, and Matthew Lenard.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Lapine Assembly of God Church.
