"Dusty" Justin Warren Kane

Funeral Services for “Dusty” Justin Warren Kane, 42, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Jerry Salisbury and Rev. Herman Lenard officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Dusty was born on December 11, 1968 and passed away on October 25, 2011. He was very active in the West Monroe Dixie Youth Program, member West Monroe Methodist Protestant Church and attended First Baptist Church in West Monroe, the West Monroe Masonic Lodge #419, Rebel Club and also in Road Runners Association. Dusty graduated from West Monroe High School in 1986 and attended ULM and was an avid hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Jackson Kane; son, “Jack Karson” Karson Jackson Kane; parents, L.V. and June Kane; mother-in-law, Myra McDonald and husband, Larry; father-in-law, Dickie Jackson and wife, Mickey; sisters, Misty Smith and husband, Billy, Wendy Lenard and husband, Mark and Sheila Crocker; brother, J.L. Kane; grandmother, Mildred Kane; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mark Sanders, Marty Bailey, Keith Billings, James Kuhn, Brian Hinton and Rob Newson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kentz Head, Scott Payne, Tony Jones, Greg Soignier, Billy Croft, Chuck Smart, Dave Reeves, Mike Wallace and Tina Newsom.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of First Choice Hospice, Donald Shaw, Gale Borden, Tonya Neilson, Suzanne Hatten and to Danny Hawthorne.
