Dr. Robert Cosper Ewing

Dr. Robert Cosper Ewing, 73 of Calhoun, Louisiana, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022. Dr. Ewing was a beloved and lauded caregiver to many during his 45+ years practicing internal medicine. Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America as both a member of the Order of the Arrow and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. After medical school, he spent 5 years serving in the US Navy. Robert loved traveling with his wife and family and his continued work with the Boy Scouts even after his retirement.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Lois Ewing. Survived by wife of 16 years, Susan Ewing; brother, Edmund Ewing (Cheryl); Daughter, Andrea Callicutt (Scott); Daughter, Gwenmarie Ewing; Daughter, Ashley Wisenor; Son, Cory Johnson (Jamie); Son, Andrew Wisenor (Miranda); Daughter, Alexandra Graves (Drake); Grandchildren, Emarie Johnson, Karalyne McDow, Rylan Wisenor, Cora-Grace Callicutt, Lennon Graves and Peanut Wisenor.

Visitation with family will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, beginning at two o’clock in the afternoon and a celebration of life will follow beginning at three o'clock at Mulhearn Funeral Home 300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291.
