Dovie Holley

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dovie Mae Holley, 90, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 18, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Jerard Toney officiating. Interment will follow in the Epps Cemetery in Epps, LA.

Dovie was born on March 1, 1927, in Delhi, LA, and passed away September 15, 2017. Dovie was an incredible wife, wonderful mom, loving “Mamaw”, devoted sister, and precious friend to many. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart and quick wit.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, James Holley.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Hardy “Red” Holley; children, Art Holley and wife Laura Guzman, and Terry Holley; grandchildren, Cheryl Dobson and husband Dewey, T.J. Holley, Adriana Holley, Teresa Holley, Evan Holley, and Aiden Holley; great-grandchildren, Corey Holley, Christopher Holley and wife Katie Holley, Gerson Ortiz, Ryan Holley, Jacob Holley and Caleb Holley; great-great grandchild, Hunter Holley; brother, Billy Fryer and wife Helen; brother, Charles Fryer and wife Pat; and many more relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Walker, Leslie Nelson, Jeff Brown, Buster Brown, Douglas Valentine and Keith Thompson.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
